Season Finale of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels
The season finale of “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels” premiered on Amazon TV today! I had the opportunity to double lead actress Natalie Dormer for her character Rio. While I was hired on as the stunt double (thank you Mark Norby, Brian Duffy, and Vlad Rimburg for the opportunity), I also worked as her photo double. I was asked to deliver her dialogue in the wide shots, and was so ecstatic to show off both some fighting and acting skills. My takeaway from the experience: always learn your actress’s lines, because you never know if you might need to say them.
